This is absolutely the best thing I’ve EVER purchased. My husband was annoyed at first claiming it was frivolous and unnecessary…but after we followed it around for an hour the first day, we can’t believe we ever lived without it. We have it set to run at 7am after we leave for work… we empty it when we get home and have perfect carpet lines in our area rug and clean corners, but have it set to run again at 7 pm after dinner. My dog doesn’t care about it, it’s relatively quiet, and it just plain WORKS. I love that it’s connected to Alexa, so if I’m home and feel like it needs to run again, I can say, “Alexa, have Rosie start cleaning” and off she goes. If you’re on the fence about this, just buy it. You won’t regret it. My only regret is that I didn’t pull the trigger and order sooner. I just can’t believe how much better I feel about life when my corners aren’t dusty and I have vacuum lines. It’s really the perfect invention.

Absolutely love this thing. I have it set to run at 1:30am while the family sleeps and boy does thing (I named mine Suckatron), do its job! I got this on sale for $199 on here, but I don’t see the need for Alexa connectivity. The app does just fine. These people crying about it, seriously, it’s stupid.I’ve had it for about two weeks now and it’s finally not filling up as much on the overnight cleaning, which makes me happy. It blows my mind the amount of hair and dirt this thing picks up. We have two dogs and a cat, along with a 2 month old and a 2 year old. I just have to pick up any loose items and wires in the living room, dining room, and kitchen and block the bottom of the fridge (it tends to get jammed under the door and gets stuck), and this little wonder cleans up like a champThis guy is mighty and worth every penny. If I manage to keep this for over a year, which I’m sure I will, this thing will have cost me less than a $1/day and I can’t put a value on my or my wife’s time that we save with cleaning. I could go on and on, but I won’t. It awesome. You’re silly if you don’t buy this guy. The N79 version probably does just fine, I just happened to catch this one for practically the same price, so that’s why I went for it.UPDATE: The main brush on our vac went out a few weeks back and the ECOVACS support team has been fantastic and simple to deal with. I sent it back last Friday and the new one arrives just 3 business days later. Amazing customer service. Just hope that this one lasts a lot longer.

Would not recommend this model for anyone who has any type of height change in the rooms this would be cleaning. We have wood floors and a very thin carpet in one area of the living room. 100% of the time when we have the schedule feature enabled it end up getting stuck on the transition from the carpet back to the wood floor (no problem getting on the variety, just off), or on the thin pieces of wood separating the rooms. Attached image shows how the robot gets stuck coming off of the carpet, and that the carpet is thin and should not have trouble getting off.Cleaning is decent when it works, but we can only run this when we are at home so we can fix it every time it gets stuck. Also 0 response from the company when I emailed them my concerns about this issue, even though I sent it as a response to their email asking me how the product was doing.Edit 7/20/2018: Company has responded and initiated a return process. Returned the old robot and received a new unit a week later. The new unit has an error right out of the box that the Anti-Drop sensor has malfunctioned. Downgraded to 1 star as the new unit will not clean at all.

Our “Beeboot” as my wife has renamed it is awesome!! Way exceeded our expectations. I did a lot of research and compared pros and cons with various brands and models and this was truly the best(especially for the price)! It has WiFi for app control, it connects with Alexa, and comes with a remote. My wife vacuumed with our Dyson before hand to tidy up a bit and not overwhelm Beeboot. We still had to empty out his dust bin twice that first time. Keep in mind we have 4 German shepherds and a cat. So now we run Beeboot nightly to clean and he does his own thing while we watch tv. My shepherds just lay around until Beeboot comes around and know enough to move when he comes their way. My cat just hides until Beeboot is done.

DEEBOT Review1) It does not start at the program schedule time as expected. It only started 3 out of 16 attempts, even after following the instructions we got (some of which are not in the manual) from three different technical people. That makes the scheduled cleaning time feature a joke.2) Although programmed to start at 9:00 PM, on three occasions it has started the cleaning cycle at other times between 5:40 AM and 7:30 AM.3) The instruction manual does not adequately explain the usage of the features and controls for the machine. I can not attest for the French or Spanish sections as I don’t speak either of those languages.4) The instruction manual has a place to write the model and serial numbers on the inside of the front cover. The model ordered, N79S, is different from the model number on the unit, DN622.11 and it took three e-mails with responses from three different technicians before one was able to tell me where the serial number was hidden on the unit. And no one has offered an explanation as to why the model numbers don’t match or which is correct.5) It does pick up a lot of dirt and dust and must be cleaned daily, but because of its random cleaning pattern, many areas are missed, and many other areas are cleaned repeatedly in the same cycle.6) It picks up a lot of fuzz from the pile of the two red bathmats requiring extensive work on the brush to get it off but seems to be very good on other pileless mats.7) In every cleaning cycle it seems to get hung up two or three times on the ¾ inch marble hearth in front of the fireplace when it approaches at a 90 degree angle. If it approaches that same hearth from an oblique angle it manages it just fine.8) It is very good at detecting and not going down the stairs.9) On the hardwood floor. when it manages to get between the four legs of the dining room stools, it eventually works its way out, while once, with the shower stool on the bath mat, it got stuck and couldn’t get past one leg and the wall.

I was really excited about this product especially after doing my research and reading all of the reviews. Let me start by saying that we have a pretty large open concept home so when people say that it’s best with a smaller houses, follow the advice because it’s true. This drunk bot will run forever in no particular pattern and miss many spots where I can see dirt and hair. Broken down by pros and cons:Pros:1. Creepy cool product, I mean, it’s a robot doing your housework!2. Entertained the cat which entertained us3. Got underneath furniture without an issue and on and off rugs pretty well4. Does really well on hard wood floorsCons:1. Some settings don’t work in certain houses; the single room setting does not work in an open concept as we don’t have the ability to close off spaces since there are no doors between rooms2. Didn’t venture into other rooms much; like seriously this bot fell in love with my living room rug!3. Couldn’t find home to save it’s life. It could be right around the corner from the dock and hitting home would send it off on a wild adventure two rooms away. We had to pick it up every time and put it right in front of the dock to get it to go home.4. Would leave random dust bunnies behind even though we emptied it, which was pretty counter productive. So in summary, I would recommend this for someone with a small space but not for large homes and definitely not for open concepts. Unfortunately for us this little guy is going back to the workshop and we are going to move on to a different model, hoping for a better outcome.

I read reviews that said “Good but you still have to sweep/vacuum.” That was very confusing to me (does it work or not?) so allow me to clarify:I have 3 young kids and I run Deebot (R2Dbot) after lunch and after dinner. I stack and move all the dinner chairs because under the table is the worst. My table has 6 legs. When I come back downstairs after it runs completely (and usually finds home by itself) I will notice maybe 3 things/areas that it missed. I don’t worry about them. I just run it again after dinner and it will grab what it left behind before, but misses a cheerio here or popcorn there.I used to sweep 2x a day and vacuum at least every other day. Now I sweep 1x/wk (hard to reach corners and playdoh/salad/wet shredded wheat that Deebot can’t pick up) and vacuum maybe 1x a month. I absolutely love having some help around here and find it so easy to keep the floors clean. It goes easily from the rug, carpet, tile, and hardwood. It pushes large things aside and can manoover out of tricky situations most of the time. It’s not great on mats so I just pick them up before starting it (I would anyway when sweeping). It does my entire main floor without much issue (Kitchen, dining, living, laundry room, bathroom, playroom, and entry way). It has to be rescued about every other day because it ate a huge rubber band, got stuck on rug, or couldn’t get out from under a chair. Because I run it so often and the kids enjoy pushing the start button, it hasn’t bothered me.Bonus: This thing is fun. Did you know that it has a remote that let’s you drive it like a remote control car? My older kids love that. My 2 year old finally has a best friend. He follows deebot around and laughs at him when he runs into a wall. The thing has paid for itself in babysitting alone. I also love that I can use it to motivate the kids: “Oh no! Let’s pick up these toys before Deebot eats them!” #winning

We bought iRobot Roomba two years ago. It is quite useful but inconvient for cleaning a two stories house. We have to take the machine upstairs and downstairs to clean the whole home. Since it is expensive to buy another irobot so wechoose ECOVACS Deebot as an alternative. Comparing to iRobot, this one is smaller and much lighter. The outer covering quality is not as good as iRobot but the performance is good. Overall it is a very good product for the price.
